Stress index 50: BDC discounts and pulled deals drop to watch
Glitch in the Credit · Oct 27, 2026
50 out of 100, Elevated, down 2. The index slipped to 50 from 52, mostly because we now grade BDC discounts on our own number (12.5% below book, weighted by size) instead of Mercer's 29%, and the pulled-deals data cooled a bit. The neocloud selloff hasn't let up though: CoreWeave closed Monday at $55.19, down 37% in a month and a hair above its 52-week low.
